Potential threats in IT
With all the benefits of the Internet and social media there is also a dark side for example cyber bullying, this in the past few years has taken of even leading some people to suicide. This is unacceptable but i can't help but think why didn't they just delete there Facebook account or twitter if they were getting bullied.I feel that we ourselves have became obsessed about seeing what other people are doing as if we are comparing our lives to theirs. I'm not condoning the bullies in anyway I think more should be done to stop it, they just type the abusive language thinking they cant be touched they need to be proved wrong. Of course there are other dangers on the internet like virus's made to disrupt of even destroy your computer, steal your details and clean you bank account and of course like in the real world there are scams and con artists ready to steal from you. So like the world the internet can be a dangerous place.

I defiantly agree that there are great dangers when using the internet and of course there are lots of people out there who bully people which sadly people don' have much they can do to avoid except obviously blocking this person or if they have to, Delete their account but no matter how much we do there are always going to be bullies on the internet i just suggest you ignore them and continue doing things you enjoy
ReplyDeleteI agree that on social media sites such as facebook, cyber bullying is becoming a big thing. I have read many posts of young girls and boys committing suicide due to online bullying.
ReplyDeleteIt is a shame that it has drove people to such extremes, but unfortunately it seems like there is always someone out there wanting to put you down.
