The Impact of IT on communities.
The communities have been hit hard the last 10 years with the recession, unemployment and higher taxes but I think the communities are being brought together by social media using it to organize all sort of events and fundraisers to benefit and advertise the community to others. I know the time of being able to leave your door unlocked has passed but hopefully social media will help rebuild them, my only concern is that the online communities will take president over the ones in the street, do you they will?

social medias and other internet resources have made it much easier to advertise community events, but tbh i think that online communities have already taken president over street communities. Its just how society has evolved with technology.
